One Dress, Four Colors

 Hello and happy Monday everyone. I have lost all the pep in my step and am SO ready for the school year to come to a close. One. More. Month. 

I am however, VERY excited about today's blog post because I am sharing my favorite dress in FOUR different colors. I just love when you find a piece you love and it is offered in multiple colors or patterns. This dress is only $23 and I mean if you like it, get it in every color right?

Raspberry Lemonade | Lilly Pulitzer Table Scape

 Happy Monday everyone! I thought it would only be appropriate to share a fun lemonade recipe today because it is Munchie Monday! For those of you that don't know, I have started sharing 5 different things on my Instagram stories each day and on Monday I share 5 yummy foods, restaurants, or recipes. 

Not only is this recipe delicious, but it is so easy to make as well. You could whip this up in only a few minutes before having some friends over and sit on the porch and enjoy. I always think lemonade tastes better outside in the sunshine.

 Hello again friends! Two blog posts in one day? Wild. I shared on my Instagram today a new Reel and Post about three different ways I styled this Kienna Cardigan from Lilly Pulitzer. I thought I would gather everything in this one blog post for you as well to make it easier.

The Best White Graduation Dresses

 Hey y'all! I am officially a COLLEGE GRADUATE!!! What?!?! I walk across the stage tomorrow morning and I can't wait. Your gal is about to be a real adult now, ha. 

I absolutely loved finding the perfect white graduation dress for my photos and graduation and couldn't help but give some of y'all great ideas as well. These would also be beautiful for bridal showers and rehearsal dinners for brides! These white dresses range in price point, but there is truly something for everyone.

I Designed an Earring Collection!

 I can't believe it is finally time to share the news with y'all! I have partnered with my favorite small shop, Coras Den, to design my own collection of earrings. You can shop the collection HERE! My sister helped bring my designs to life. Coras Den made them into gorgeous pieces that I think you will love to wear. I couldn't be more thankful for them both, helping me make this dream a reality.

Happy Monday everyone! I am so excited to be back on the blog today. I have been enjoying my summer at the beach or by the pool and was finishing some exams for two of my summer classes. I hope you are finding ways to enjoy your summer during these strange times.

I am very excited for this new series I am starting! I scroll through Instagram and Pinterest and often find such cute fashion pieces that are sadly, way out of my price range. I wanted to start a series for those of us who want to look cute on a budget. 

Love Shack Fancy is a New York based designer clothing company specializing in whimsical, shabby chic styles for the timeless woman. I have loved following their social media for a while and always fawn over their dresses. Many of their dresses however, start at $600... no ma'am. Lilly Pulitzer Picnic + Recipes & Tips

Happy Tuesday everyone. Is anyone else gearing up for part 2 of the Bachelor finale tonight? I am always so ready to be done with these people by the end, but also kind of sad it won't be on the following week. You know what I mean?

Today we are talking picnics, which is basically a favorite pass-time for me. I could pack a picnic and enjoy it just about anywhere. On this occasion, I enjoyed it right in my backyard, ha! Tomorrow, I am having myself a picnic by the lake and then having another one on the beach Friday with some friends.

Blue & White Striped Outfit

Happy Monday everyone! I am on such a spiritual high after Easter yesterday. I may also still be on a sugar high too, ha. Are you ever too old for an Easter basket? I don't think so. My sister and I got a giant pool float (I can't wait to show it to you) and lot's of candy. How was your Easter?

My church put on a beautiful Easter service and I had the pleasure of volunteering at our Eggstravaganza Saturday and Nursery on Sunday. Something about seeing little kids in their Easter outfits gets me every time.

I am so overwhelmed by what Christ did for me (and you) and hope if you don't know the peace and love that comes with knowing Jesus, that you will ask me or someone you know. My email, comments, and DM's are always open to you.

Amazon Swim Favorites | Under $25

Happy Wednesday everyone! We should just call this the week of Amazon. After Monday's blog post, I actually received some packages from Amazon with new swimsuits I had ordered. I loved them so much and was sad I hadn't been able to share them in my favorites post, so decided to dedicate an entire post to them today. 

It is pretty much swimsuit season here in Florida already, but I know it may not be yet wherever you live. What better way to get excited about sunny weather though than to shop fun swimsuits, ha. Bookish Tees

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you are ready to have a great week. My week is going to be kind of crazy. Between work, a few fun things planned, and regular school work I am busy. However on top of this, I am now starting my 3 weeks of intense studying for the first teaching exam I have to take. This is the first step in getting certified to do my dream job so prayers would be appreciated. I can't start any classes this summer until I pass this exam so a lot is weighing on this. PRAY PLEASE, eeeek.

Now, onto what we are all here to talk about... BOOKS. Well kind of. Y'all know I am a total book nerd and read several books a month. I saw this shirt on Jane.com and had to have it. However, I know that the Jane website only cycles different deals through at certain times so I thought I would share other fun bookish tees I have found online. All of them are just as cute and nerdy as we could hope for y'all.

Happy Monday everyone and Happy Presidents Day! I had such a wonderful weekend full of family time and catching up with friends. What did you do this weekend?

This last week was pretty sunny and warm here in Florida so I dug out all my spring clothes and put away those two sweaters I own. I love where I live. Ask me again in September when I am dying of a heat stroke and I may change my mind, ha!

Four School Must Haves

Happy Wednesday! Yesterday I had my first classes of the Spring semester and I feel rather nerdy saying that I am excited, haha! I enjoyed the month off for winter break but I am so ready to get back to a routine. I will say however that this semester will be a LOT harder than the last. My professors are just tougher this year and the work is going to be harder. I also am taking five classes this semester so pray I do well!

Today I thought I would put together a full post showing some of my favorite things for school. Cute school supplies make studying far more fun!

One // My Planner

 
 Oh my word what would my life BE without my planner?? I don't even know. My life is in this thing. I love how cute it is and I really enjoy starting each week with planning out not only what I have to do each day but my overall goals for the week. I also kind of love stickers, if you couldn't tell. :)


Two // My Tervis Cup

I know this sounds silly but I have been through the ringer with cups. I hate to sound like goldilocks but I could never find one that was just right. Either it was too heavy, or too big to fit in my car cup holder, or the cold metal kept hurting my teeth, or the lid would break.. I could not win. This is the true winner of all cups. You can find them in a bunch of different designs and shapes but the one I have and carry with me every day all day and to school also, is this UCF cup. Cute right?? #chargeon

Three // Mechanical Pencils

 These are seriously the best mechanical pencils out there. I know it is kind of ridiculous of me to think this but I seriously feel ready to conquer the world when I whip out these awesome mechanical pencils y'all. #it'sthelittlethings


Four // Monograms for My Binders

Monogram decals are on every single folder and binder I bring to school. They just spice up my solid color stationary ya know? You can also reference my post here on how to get free preppy stickers sent to you, since we all know by now, I LOVE STICKERS!

Bright Orange

Hey y'all!! I hope you are having an absolutely fabulous week so far. I am still SWEATING y'all. I am dying for some low 80's at least but I don't think Florida is having it. I am dying to cozy up in some chunky sweaters but that just isn't going to happen. Oh well!

Since it is still so hot, I love a cold lemonade. I love all things lemonade. The watermelon lemonade from Chick-fil-a is the best thing ever. My sister works at one and gets free food so I sometimes convince her to bring me one! :) I love this bright orange tank! It is so flowy and comfortable. The material is super cool which is awesome for this heat.

Easy Refreshing Summer Rice Bowl/ Salad

Hey y'all! Happy hump day. It is no secret that baking is my forte and cooking rather frightens me but every now and then I stumble upon a super easy and delicious meal that I can't help but share. This recipe is so refreshing and light, however if you want to make it a tad more filling, I think it would taste great with chicken in it as well. Enjoy!

Serves: 4

Ingredients:
1 cup cooked rice
4 ears of fresh corn, husked
2 cups of cherry or grape or canned tomatoes
1 cup fresh arugula or spinach
1 fresh jalapeno, thinly sliced
1 cup red onion, cut into thin wedges

Dressing Ingredients:
 4 tbsp red wine vinegar
3 tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Prepare rice and set in refrigerator to cool completely.
Then grill the corn or cook in boiling water while rice is being cooked. Then shave the corn off the cob and set aside to cool as well.
Once both of these are cooled, combine them together with halved tomatoes, onion, jalapeno and spinach in a serving bowl.
Combine dressing ingredients in a separate bowl and then pour over salad.
Refrigerate before serving.

Voila! You're done! Bon Apetite!

Floral Maxi

Happy Wednesday! I hope you had a great 4th of July yesterday! I had a great day consisting of family time and fireworks after work. What did you do?

This maxi is only 17$ and is so cute. I love floral maxis for every time of year, especially here in Florida. However, I suggest wearing with a jacket though because the top part is somewhat thin. Bonus, it is navy and pink which are my two favorite colors!!
