 Hello again friends! I have a new obsession to share with y'all. I have been buying from Belks like crazy the last couple weeks and haven't spent very much at all. Their clearance section right now is AMAZING!!

This dress is normally over $50 but is currently $15!!!! Such a good deal! Belks has some of the nicest quality clothing that will last a long time! Back to School with Vera Bradley x Crocs

 It is a happy Tuesday everyone because I got to meet my supervising teacher today for my student teaching! God truly answers prayers because she has so many qualities I had been praying about for months! I can not wait to get started next week. It is also a happy Tuesday because Vera Bradley has released a collaboration with Crocs today that is just so fun. 

I am so thankful to have received a pair last week and they are every bit as comfy as they are cute! 

September & October Book Reviews

Happy Monday everyone! I am currently finishing this blog post while in bed because I had way too fun of a weekend. After the football game Saturday and spending the day at Disney yesterday, I am SO tired. It will be a reading day for me.

Happy Wedneday y'all! That 6 a.m. alarm came way to quickly and I am moving in slow motion today. I could have slept for another 6 hours, ha!

Happy Friday y'all! I am so happy to finally be feeling better today. It has been a slightly crazy day, but I am so happy to be back to normal and was so happy to get out of my house today, ha! A sick day is only fun for a day or two.. not a week, ya feel me?

Fitbit Versa Watch- I have to start with my new smart watch because I have been obsessed ever since I got it a couple of weeks ago. I am thinking of doing a full review of it soon. Would you be interested in this? My favorite band is this one but I also really like this band too.

Inexpensive Walmart Finds for Fall

Happy Wednesday everyone! I am excited to share today's blog post. I just got back from Walmart and I definitely found some cute things. Happy shopping everyone!

It is true that a lot of the clothing from Walmart is not great quality, but the few that I am sharing today, seemed to be nicer than what I typically would expect of Walmart. I was pleasantly surprised. These aren't pieces you will have for years and years, but for the price, they're a fun purchase for the season.

I am obsessed with this top! I can tell leopard is going to be all the rage this Fall and this top is a great piece to have. It is short sleeve so if you live in the south, where it will be hot still for a while, you need this. This shirt is super good quality for the price! Once it gets cooler, you can layer it with a jacket or cardigan and pair it with jeans and booties. So cute right?

Happy Monday and almost New Years! I can't believe it is almost 2019, whaaattt?? 

I am so excited for this New Year and feel like it is going to be a big one. I will be sharing a blog post in a couple of days all about my New Years Resolutions and I can't wait to hear y'alls also. Right now however, my mind is ALL football. Alabama is heading to the National Championship (again!) and UCF is playing in the Fiesta Bowl tomorrow! I am so stinkin' excited for New Years day now, I can't even contain it! Cue the stress eating...

Draper James and Leopard Details

Happy Friday everyone! I hope y'all enjoyed your Christmas and have a nice break from work/ school. I have been enjoying time off of school and am excited to go back.

One of my favorite gifts I got this Christmas was this Draper James 'Totes Y'all' purse.  I love Draper James and Reese Witherspoon is a favorite of mine. Her clothing line is so southern, witty, and classy. I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened this up. It is so me in every way! Thank you Santa (:

Adorable right? It is a large tote with several pockets so it is perfect for all the junk I carry with me. I might even use it for classes because it can easily fit a folder and blanket also. 

Weekend Recap {Gameday Edition}

Happy Monday y'all. Oh my word am I exhausted. Do you every just have one of those weekends where you feel 100% in the moment of everything you're doing and then wakeup Monday morning and feel like you have been hit by a brick wall? That's sort of how I am feeling, ha! (: 

I have a very regular sleeping schedule that usually entails waking up between 5:30 and 6 am and being back in bed by 10pm. This weekend was all over the place but BOY was it FUN! Let's get into it.

Thursday

I don't have classes on Friday so Thursday after class is when my weekend kind of starts. Earlier this week, ESPN College Gameday announced that they were coming to UCF for the UCF vs. Cincinnati game.

Shoes, Shoes, SHOES!! {Fall & Winter Edition}

Happy Wednesday everyone! I have been so stinkin' excited for this blog post because there is nothing I love talking about or shopping for more than shoes y'all. I often decide what shoes I want to wear and pick out clothing and accessories after. They can seriously change an entire outfit and make a bold statement.

How to Cut a Blanket Scarf

Happy Wednesday everyone! I am so excited for today's blog post. I have always loved fun plaid blanket scarfs but have found them to be way to heavy to wear in the Florida heat this time of year, or any time of the year really. I wanted to share how I cut mine to make them much lighter and easier to wear for those of you who don't live in the arctic either. Happy Monday everyone! I hope y'all are having a great start to your week! This past week felt really slow for me and I didn't feel very productive until the weekend so I am actually excited to get back into a productive routine this week. Also, I am in such a good mood because the weather here in Florida is so nice finally. It is not in the 80's as much anymore and that means I can wear pants instead of shorts! Ha.

Great Books for Fall

Happy Wednesday everyone! I am so happy to be sharing with y'all another book post! I love doing my monthly recaps where I show what books I have been reading each month, but I thought compiling a list of my favorite Fall reads would be fun also. There is something about having a spooky or cozy book to read while sipping a Fall drink and listening to a café playlist. I get happy just thinking about it!

Tea for the Fall

Happy Monday everyone. This past week was no fun for me. I spent the entire week cooped up in a bed either at home, at centra care, or in the hospital. I had vertigo for the first time ever and am still recovering. I hope none of y'all ever get it because it ain't pretty. I am happy to be somewhat back to normal now and chat with y'all today.

It is no secret that I love a good latte and strong coffee is my weakness. It is also no secret that coffee isn't the healthiest for you and I am always looking for replacement caffeine to avoid headaches. I was so thrilled when The Republic of Tea offered to send me a fall flavor of their tea because I have always found their teas to be THE BEST! I am trying to be a tea person instead of a coffee person and sip a delicious fall flavor every time I want something hot. 

Some of my favorites from The Republic of Tea are:

This tea is the best for a sore throat. It doesn't taste the very best but it seriously helps and is the first thing I grab when I have a scratchy throat. 

I love this one and the health benefits of ginger are so great. The peach flavor makes it soothing and delicious.

I love their iced teas for making a pitcher. I have used several different flavors and they turn out so great. I always add sugar to make it a sweet tea (I am from the south after all), so there aren't many health benefits, but it tastes so good!

Some flavors I want to try from The Republic of Tea:

This tea is supposed to help with memory and focus and I think a hot cup of this would be great while I do homework.

This flavor sounds exactly like what the royal family must drink, so I obviously want to try it!

If you are a pumpkin spice girl, this one is for you.

I want to try this one SO bad come Christmas time. It sounds so delicious and festive!

Four School Must Haves

Happy Wednesday! Yesterday I had my first classes of the Spring semester and I feel rather nerdy saying that I am excited, haha! I enjoyed the month off for winter break but I am so ready to get back to a routine. I will say however that this semester will be a LOT harder than the last. My professors are just tougher this year and the work is going to be harder. I also am taking five classes this semester so pray I do well!

Today I thought I would put together a full post showing some of my favorite things for school. Cute school supplies make studying far more fun!

One // My Planner

 
 Oh my word what would my life BE without my planner?? I don't even know. My life is in this thing. I love how cute it is and I really enjoy starting each week with planning out not only what I have to do each day but my overall goals for the week. I also kind of love stickers, if you couldn't tell. :)


Two // My Tervis Cup

I know this sounds silly but I have been through the ringer with cups. I hate to sound like goldilocks but I could never find one that was just right. Either it was too heavy, or too big to fit in my car cup holder, or the cold metal kept hurting my teeth, or the lid would break.. I could not win. This is the true winner of all cups. You can find them in a bunch of different designs and shapes but the one I have and carry with me every day all day and to school also, is this UCF cup. Cute right?? #chargeon

Three // Mechanical Pencils

 These are seriously the best mechanical pencils out there. I know it is kind of ridiculous of me to think this but I seriously feel ready to conquer the world when I whip out these awesome mechanical pencils y'all. #it'sthelittlethings


Four // Monograms for My Binders

Monogram decals are on every single folder and binder I bring to school. They just spice up my solid color stationary ya know? You can also reference my post here on how to get free preppy stickers sent to you, since we all know by now, I LOVE STICKERS!
