2021 for Juliana Grace!

What a year it has been. I truly can't even put into words what this year has meant. There has been some sadness, disappointments, and grief.. but there has also been a lot of growth, accomplishment, and joy. I love looking back at what the last year has brought and I can't wait for what 2022 will hold!

Let's get into this.

Spontaneous Miscellaneous

Happy Wednesday friends! I am so excited to share some of my favorite recent finds with y'all. I am sharing some awesome Amazon finds, recent favorite shows, etc...

I first wanted to share a small life update. This semester I started my student teaching and it has been so wonderful so far. I love my supervising teacher and the students we work with.

About two weeks ago, I was laid off from my job teaching English online to Chinese students. The Chinese government now requires anyone who teaches English for a Chinese company to hold a bachelors degree. Since I am still a semester away from graduating, I was cut. I was gutted and couldn't believe it. I also experienced a lot of stress and anxiety because it threw off my plans for the future.

I am very thankful however, that I have been able to find a job as a substitute teacher in the county I intern in. God is so faithful and has better plans than I do, so even though I am taking a large pay cut, I know He is so good.

I know this time is very uncertain and stressful for a lot of people so I just want to encourage you to bring your anxieties to God. He is not shocked by what is going on and can provide comfort and peace during very unpeaceful times.

Now... Let's dive right in to some recent favorites!

This is a short recap but includes one of my favorite books of all time. Let's dive in.

My Favorite Devotionals

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you are having a great start to the week. My summer classes started today and although I could have used at least one or two more weeks of summer break, I am excited for what's to come. I love the classes I'm taking this summer and do love having a more routine schedule. I will still find time to lay by the pool though, don't you worry.
With my day's now being more busy, I am having to really find time to have a daily devotion and quiet time with God. This is so important and I'm not perfect at it, but try my hardest day by day.

If you haven't read this blog post, where I discuss what a daily devotion is and how I have one, you should read it here. Today, I am sharing devotional books that I love!

Current Devotional Routine

Happy Monday everyone! I love MLK Day because it gives us a chance to reflect on history and how far we've come, along with how far we still have to go.

I am so excited to share this post because these types of posts are always so motivating for me to read. I get such great ideas for my personal devotion, by seeing what others do for their daily devotion.

If you haven't seen my blog post, How To Have a Daily Devotion, you might want to start there. If you are unfamiliar with what to do or where to start, read that post first.

Now let's get into what I am doing these days, when I spend some personal time with the Lord.

What I Have Learned in 2018

Happy Monday y'all. I am officially on Christmas break, and it feels SO good! This year has been full of a little good and a little bad and it sure has taught me a lot. I thought it would be nice, to write down what this year has taught me, so I can look back on it down the road.

3 Places to Donate to This Christmas

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. I am SO excited to have received the news that ESPN College Gameday, the pre game show is coming to my school, UCF! I will be going this Saturday with a big sign in hopes of seeing Lee Corso pick UCF for the win and get TV time. (:

As Christmas time approaches it is easy to get caught up in all that you "want" and how to decorate and what to find for all your Christmas parties, but we can't forget that this is the season of giving. This is a great time to give and donate to important charities and foundations. It is overwhelming to know where to start and so I compiled a list of well respected Christian charities that make a huge difference. Even a small donation can be a huge help!

Five Things I Learned From My Momma!

It's Wednesday everyone, which means we are half way through this crazy week! At least it is crazy for me. This Sunday is Mother's Day and I can't wait to celebrate my Momma and the sweet lady who raised her.

I will be honest and say I sometimes fret about not being a good mother one day, because the women in my family have set the bar so freakin' high. I will always live close so they can help me! :)

I thought it would be fun to share five things that my momma has taught me in life, even though there are far more!
1. You can love your family, and like your family.

We are family people around here. My mom has never felt the need to "get away" or go for a "girls weekend" because she genuinely likes us, not just loves us. She has always been a great friend to those she meets, but prefers to spend time with us, even though she sees us all the time. She has taught me that life is WAY more fun and enjoyable when you like your family and invest in relationships beyond what you are obligated to do as a family member. She's my BESTIE!

2. Don't take anything too seriously.

Oh my word. My mom is a laugher. I don't know if that is an actual word but it describes my mom to a tee. She laughs about everything with the most contagious laugh. She has taught me to never stay in a bad mood. Obviously my mom and I have butted heads before, but never for more than like 2 seconds, before she starts making fun of me and dying laughing. I would always be so mad, because I couldn't help from laughing too. Whenever someone in my family is having a bad day or is in a foul mood, she somehow finds a way to brighten our day and make us giggle!

3. A relationship with God is built day by day.

One thing that I don't think I noticed that I really admired about my mom is that she is so consistent with her daily devotions. She has one chair she sits in every morning, and opens the same binder of prayer requests before working her way through the Bible. She is flat-out dedicated to that relationship, and it shows through her relationships with others.

4. A little work on the front end, makes life so much easier in the long run.

This is a loaded statement that applies to almost everything my mom does. When it came to disciplining us as kids, she never gave in to our begging just to make us shut up for the five seconds in the grocery store. Were we screaming, getting stared at and on her nerves? Yes. But she would stick it out, and would tell you that not letting us get that candy or balloon when crying that one time, made us behave so much better the rest of the trips to the grocery store. Do you get where I am going?
This also applies to organizing and cleaning. I still haven't quite caught on to her whole clean freak nature, as much as I wish I could, but I admire it. It isn't that she can't enjoy her day or let people make a mess, it's just that it has to be cleaned up and organized before she hits the pillow at night. Sometimes I think she is crazy, because I go to bed every night with my room a wreck, but the difference is, is that I wake up to a mess while she wakes up to a fresh start.
Are you catching my drift? My mom is a hard worker and (like me), loves to have a plan. But I think that having our lives organized, has made living it so much more enjoyable.
I love having a mom who works hard on the little things, so that in the big picture, we can have fun without any stress.

5. You can never be too matchy-matcy, and leggings are NEVER pants

I always tell my mother that "I would be nothing without her" but I don't really refer to it when talking about my personality, friends, life, etc.. Nope. I say that, in reference to my style.. LOL! I am 19 years-old and I still ask my mom to come with me each time I go clothes shopping. She is a preppy lady with classy southern style, and I would be nothing without her! :) haha!

So there you have it. I don't know why, but I feel like crying. I just love my mom so stinkin' much and hope you squeeze your momma a little extra this coming Sunday! I will talk to you on Friday!

Florida School Shooting

Hi everyone. I am sorry for the absence on my blog and social media since Wednesday. As you can imagine, myself, like many others, were deeply distraught at the news of the 17 high school students shot and killed by a former student in a Parkland Florida Public School. As a future teacher and someone who values the privilege we have to acquire an education in what should be a safe environment, I was very sad to see the videos and articles of students recalling the events of the horrific day.

Regardless of if you want to blame this tragedy on mental health or gun control, and regardless of which side of the political isle you fall, we can agree there needs to be a change. 18 school shootings in 24 days is NOT okay. Do we need to get strict on gun control? Do we need to be better about recognizing mental health concerns? Does the media need to stop portraying violent acts in video games and TV shows that desensitize people and lower our value of human life? Maybe a great start would be the FBI taking tips about individuals with potential to do this harm seriously.

I don't know the exact answer but if doing one or all of those things would keep SEVENTEEN innocent children from being killed, don't you think it is worth considering. Take your political values out of it and throw away your pride people, we need a change.

I love the way Megyn Kelly on the TODAY show spoke about the shooting.

More than anything, this country needs love. The greatest love I have ever known is the love of Jesus. Prayer results in change. Don't say you will pray. PRAY.

I will resume with regular blog posts next week but I wanted those of you who maybe haven't researched this event or seen much news coverage to get a real sense of what these victims are experiencing and spend time in prayer for them and their families.

God Bless

Why I Changed My Major | Special Education

Happy Monday y'all! I am so excited to finally get a post up sharing some big news and life changes!
A few weeks ago you saw on my Instagram stories that I had changed my major to Exceptional Student Education (also known as Special Education) and I was so excited. I have been meaning to write an entire post about it, but have been struggling with how to put it into words.

To a lot of people this change seemed out of the blue. Friends of mine were rather shocked and surprised at how quick I changed my whole life around, but it was something that was stirring in my heart for a long time.

I will admit that about a year ago, I (sadly) didn't give much thought at all to kids or individuals with special needs. It simply wasn't a part of my daily life and didn't concern me at the moment. As selfish as that seems, I had a lot going on and it simply wasn't my passion at the time. However, the summer after I graduated high school, I read the book "The Lucky Few" by Heather Avis after my mom recommended it to me. It was a quick read about her families Down Syndrome adoptions. Her dedication to shouting the worth of her kids struck a chord and I found myself watching videos of her sweet kids on Instagram in my spare time. I believe this was when God started softening my heart towards kids with special needs.

I started following other families who adopted kids with special needs and I became so passionate about standing up for them. Suddenly, these kids were all I could think about. I work with a few individuals at my part time job who have special needs and I realized how much they really brighten my day (even if they do comment on the fact that I need to wash my hair.. LOL).

One day I was at work when a customer came in with his daughter who had autism, I looked her in the eye and asked her how she was, like I would every customer. She grabbed me by the hand and smiled and in that moment, I knew God was working on my heart and big changes were coming, whether I liked them or not.

I started really enjoying my psychology class and units in my education courses on students with exceptionalities. My professor even spoke to me individually about being a special education teacher and suggested I do some of my intern hours in a special ed class.

I set up about three different dates with three different special ed teachers and was planning on visiting all three before making any big changes. I was at the time an Elementary Education major and although I definitely had developed a soft spot for kids with special needs, it still slightly terrified me. Some of them are loud or have medical issues and I honestly didn't know if I was capable to handle it. Frankly, I was annoyed that God had placed this on my heart, because I was perfectly content with my major and life plan prior. Ah, isn't it funny how we plan our lives and think we are in control?

Well, y'all, it was about 10 minutes into interning in that first special education class that I knew I needed to change my major. The day was chaotic, loud, funny, and so full of love. These kids worked double as hard as any other kid I had seen and were so full of joy. They had their bad moments too, but their personalities were all so different and they came by everything honestly.

I left that classroom that day and went straight to my college to change my major to Exceptional Student Education. I still sometimes wonder what I have gotten myself into, but let me just say this. When God has called you to something, you will not be happy doing anything else. Change is flippin scary y'all, but it can also be kind of amazing.

I now have full faith that God has equipped me to handle the situations that will be thrown at me in the future with his help and I am so stinkin' excited. I mean what other career do you get to stop in the middle of your day and have a full on dance party to GoNoodle videos? I think this is the only one! :)

I pray each of you find what God has called you to do and have passion towards it. Thanks for your support!

Letter to My Freshman Self

Dear High School Freshman Juliana,

This is college freshman Juliana writing you. Yes that means that you actually made it through high school. You didn't fail math. You came close a few times, but you graduated. You made it to the right classrooms on the first day, well most of them. I would say that in four years you won't walk in and sit down in the wrong class, but that would be a lie. Just roll with it girl. Don't worry about it, you still graduated.
Often times, the school work seemed challenging and you may not know exactly what you want to do with your life just yet but that's okay. Study hard, and give it you're all. No one else you're age really knows what they are going to do with their life either. Can I tell you something? Don't worry. That won't make it any better, and God has you. By the end of you're senior year, you will be wishing you pushed a little harder through the academics because you are going to be very passionate about learning and about a career. You're going to have big dreams and a great plan.
I'll give it to you girl, high school is going to be hard. It will possibly be the hardest and feel like the longest four years of your whole life. You are going to struggle with some health problems that will make you feel lonely. Can I tell you what will help with that though, since I have been through it? Don't worry. That won't make it any better, and God has you.
You're also going to make new friends, and loose friends. This is normal. It is going to seem like everyone else has more friends than you but can I tell you something? They don't. Can I tell you something else? Don't worry. That won't make it any better, and God has you.
This year, you're going to discover who you're true friends are and you're going to rely on God and you're awesome family more than you have ever had to before. The physical, mental, and spiritual problems you faced to get you to that point will be difficult, but can I tell you something? Don't worry. That won't make it any better, and God has you.
Juliana, high school is hard, but high school is short. When you graduate you are going to be immersed into an entire new world that is adulthood. It is tricky but amazing. You are going to see you're true life long friends grow along side of you as well as meet some amazing new people. It will be scary and nerve wracking, but it is going to be great. Trust me.
You're going to be so eager to go to school (I know it sounds crazy!), and you're going to be excited for your career one day.
Enjoy being a teenager. Can I tell you something? Don't worry. It won't make it any better, and God has you. God has you're health, you're future, you're friends, you're plans, you're academics, and you're whole life in the palm of his hand. Pray hard and stop worrying. You're going to turn out okay. :)

xoxo,
Juliana Grace

Spontaneous Miscellaneous

Hi everyone! Happy Friday! This week has felt so weird. Do you ever just have a week where the earth feels off it's axis and you have no clue what day it is ever or what is going on. That was me this week. I just wasn't with it. I did however fill out my planner for the following week and am READY for a more productive awesome week!! Are you ready to see some of my favorites??

My Favorite Things This Week:

Planning Planning Planning...
Speaking of planners... y'all know I purchased this planner a while back along with these stickers from an amazing etsy shop and Y'ALL I am pumped about this new little hobby of mine. I have always been a planner kind of girl, but this takes it to an all new level!

Duolingo
So this app is a new love for me, I have been doing about 5 minutes every night of french. I took two years of french in high school but never stayed committed to it or memorized much past the test date. I wanted to refresh my memory and this app is awesome. There are a ton of different languages you can learn on it too. I have to be a pro before I go to Paris one day! Speaking of Paris...

I have a thing for coffee table books. Any kind about any topic, I just love them. This coffee table book about a bunch of different spots in Paris has kept me daydreaming this past week. I love exploring through this book and have read through almost all of it and feel as though I could be an official tour guide now :)

I briefly talked about this site on my Instagram story a few days ago, and had a few questions. This is a website where they try to make the bible easier to understand. They have bible reading plans and make videos summarizing chapters and connecting the themes. As many of you already know, I am reading through the One Year Bible right now, and have found that The Bible Project videos have been fascinating to watch along with reading the chapters split up for me each day. You have to check them out if you have ever wanted to understand the bible more or read through it.

The Best Announcement Ever
RIVERDALE SEASON TWO IS RETURNING TO NETFLIX IN OCTOBER. Okay I'm happy. bye.

My Favorite Moments This Week:

Probably seeing my sister at her new job! She is the cutest!

Along with doing several lunches through out the week. There is nothing better than sitting down at a table over food and catching up on everything with a good friend.

How to Have a Daily Devotion!

Hey y'all! I am sharing possibly the most important blog post with you today. I am sharing my tips and suggestions on how to have a daily devotional / quiet time with God. It is so important that you carve out time to spend with the Lord in private each day. There are many different ways you can do this, but today I am going to share my routine and how I make time for God each morning.

Mathew 6:6 "But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."

What time should I have a devotion?

God does not care at which time you choose to have a devotional. Some people prefer to do so at night before bed, others do so in the car if they have a long drive to work, or if you're like me, you like to have a quiet time first thing in the morning.

This is the time that works best for me because I can make time for it easier in my schedule and it is the best way for me to start my day. I try and apply what I learn to my day and find that I am always a bit happier throughout the day if I have had a relaxed time with God that morning.

John 15:7 "If you remain in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you."

What should I do for my devotion?

Each and every person will have a different preference when it comes to their quiet time with God. I have several different recommendations though that will fit multiple different types of people and their lifestyles.

1. Thankful Journal: I love to start my quiet time by numbering off in a journal things I am thankful for. This can be things like air conditioning, a comfy bed, clean water, etc.. Along with these things I write memories I am thankful for such as "sweet neighbors who always ask how I'm doing when they see me pull in the driveway" or "my parents good relationship with their own parents". You get the point. This is always so humbling to open up my notebook each morning and see that I am up to almost 3,000 things and moments God has blessed me with.
2. Devotional Book: There are so many great devotional books out there that don't take much time at all. There are also harder studies that will take longer. I suggest doing research on devotional books and reading reviews to see which you think you would like. One that I just finished that was AMAZING was Praying for Your Future Husband by: Robin Jones Gunn & Tricia Goyer.
Regardless of your stage of life, there is a book out there that will guide you and teach you a long the way.
Other devotionals that I LOVED are Do Hard Things and Not a Fan, both of which are fantastic for teenagers and young adults.
3. Read Through the Bible: This is a trickier one. Reading through the Bible in order is tricky and takes a lot of discipline. There are a lot of chapters in the bible that will seem harder to read through. However there are also books that will help guide you through the bible and keep you on track as well. The One Year Bible is an example of a guided reading through God's word that will keep you on pace and help you make sense of things as you read them.
4. Online Devotionals: If you work at an office or sit at a computer all day and find that you sometimes need a brain break from working or school, there are plenty of online devotionals that you can pull up on another tab and enjoy. I recently have enjoyed taking a break from my online work to read the Girlfriends in God Devotional. It is so great for women of all ages.
Other online devotionals that you may like are Proverbs 31 Ministries (great for women) and Our Daily Bread (a quick daily devotion you can read or listen to).
5. Podcasts: If you are someone who has a long drive to and from work, a podcast may work best for you. I am a big fan of podcasts and listen to them at different times of day, often times in the car or at night, but I know my dad really enjoys listening to sermons and devotionals during his long commute to work. Here are some I have listened to before and really recommend:
Joyce Meyer- this woman is amazing and has several books and a TV show. Her podcasts are short but effective and she is a great speaker that will captivate your attention.
Northpoint Church- This church has some of the best pastors I have ever heard and I can almost quote word for word their sermon series because they are simple, easy to remember, but really get you thinking.
Crosspoint Church- This church also has great sermons and great series that you are sure to love as well.

Romans 10:17 "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ."

How do I pray?

This is simple. Close your eyes and talk to God. This is your time to thank him and to ask him. I suggest too making a prayer list or notebook to document your prayer requests. This is helpful in remembering who you need to pray for and keeping track of how God has answered your prayers in sometimes ways you never expected. The great thing about prayer is that it can be done anywhere, at anytime. God wants us to talk to him, and the more we talk to him, the more clearly we understand his voice.

James 5:13 "Is anyone among you in trouble? let them pray. Is anyone happy? let them sing songs of praise."

How can I pray for you?

I pray that whoever reads this post and doesn't have a relationship with God will come to know him the way I have. Being a Christian is not a set of rules to follow, it is a relationship that will better your life and set you free. There is no better feeling than knowing that you aren't in control and a greater God is watching over you and has a brilliant plan for your life. I can't imagine doing this life on my own. If you have any questions regarding my faith, please don't hesitate to ask me. My email is jgracblog@gmail.com . I would also love to know how I personally can pray for you.

Have a great day! I will talk to you again soon!

Filling Each Others Buckets

It's Wednesday gang! It also happens to be my sissy/ besties birthday! I can't believe my baby sis is 16!!! It is going to be a fun day!
I hope you have great plans for your day to make it awesome! I hope you are starting to read this post at the beginning of your day because I have a couple questions I want you to ask yourself as your day goes on. 1. Why haven't I been filling peoples buckets? And 2. How can I fill other's buckets today?
Y'all are probably thinking I have lost my mind (which is very possible), because you have no clue what I am talking about. Let me explain.

As a college student who plans to study Elementary Education and become a teacher, I love watching other educators online and reading their blogs for inspiration. One of my FAVS is Mrs. May at One Fab Teacher. She made a video about something her students do in the classroom, fill each others buckets. Before I continue on with this post, click HERE to watch the video I am talking about.

Is that not just the sweetest? These first grade students notice when one of their classmates is feeling sad or down and they make an effort to give them encouragement. Did you notice how the students said it made them feel to encourage someone else? It felt GOOD. By helping someone else, they felt great.

So I have a question. Why is it, after we leave elementary school, we stop finding pleasure in helping and encouraging others? Why is it we start tearing each other down and causing pain in someone else instead of filling their bucket.

It isn't always the fact that we are tearing others down or purposely causing them pain, but rather we don't care. We are so caught up in our own lives and trying to make ourselves happy, that we forget to fill each others buckets. But are we happy? Being selfish and only worrying about ourselves, will never make us happy. However, giving a compliment or being encouraging to someone else, even with something simple like "You are so smart" or "You are so kind" like those students showed us, could make someone else SO happy.... and wouldn't THAT bring you pure joy?

I am going to try and be a bucket filler, rather than a bucket hoarder and only build myself up. Will you join me??

I want to hear your thoughts on kindness and how you plan to fill someones bucket below. LOVE Y'ALL! Talk to you soon.

January Book & Podcast Review

It's the start of the week folks! I hope you have great plans to make this a wonderful and productive week. I am having a busy week and I am hoping I can get everything done that I hope to do!

Y'all may or may not remember how I made reading at least one book a month one of my new years resolutions. I thought to keep me accountable I would start doing monthly book recaps to share what I have been reading. You can shop the books I have been loving by clicking on the picture above the description.
I decided to also add in a few podcasts I have been loving this month. I just got hooked on podcasts about a week ago so there isn't a ton to share in this blog post, but hopefully next month I will have more to share. I have become kind of obsessed with plugging in my earbuds and listening to a podcast while I walk the neighborhood, or listening to one to and from work. It is so easy to just pull up the podcast app on the Iphone and search whatever you want! There are a billion gazillion podcasts on every topic imaginable so I am sure you will find a few you love too!

On to the books...

Okay y'all probably know from this blog post that I am obsessed with Laura Bush. She is so elegant and classy yet so passionate and educated. She was one of the classiest first lady's in my opinion. After reading her book about her life I can say I only respect her more. She handled so many situations no one knows about with such grace and has struggled a lot through her life with many different catastrophic events. Laura and her husband are still so in love and have so much respect for each other which I admire. I recommend this book to just about anyone. It is a larger book but isn't too hard to read.

Ugh. Y'all. I really wanted to like this book but I just couldn't. It is kind of cool how the story is told backwards and you don't really know anything about the story or characters until the very end, but I found it so hard to hold on because of that. I spent the entire book feeling a little lost like I couldn't quite picture these characters (which again is kind of the point). I don't know if I would recommend it or not. It definitely wasn't my favorite but is a quick read if you are looking for one.

When I turned sixteen I really felt like God was telling me to pray for my future husband and so that is what I started to do. For almost two years now I have prayed for him and written him several letters. I didn't however really know how to pray for him like I wanted to. This book is SO GOOD and teaches you how to pray for the man you are going to spend your life with and shines light on every quality that is important. Through this book you not only learn to pray for the deepest desires of your heart but you also learn to pray for your own heart and that it will be prepared for your future husband when you do meet. Y'all this book is great. I recommend it to every young girl who has her perfect wedding planned out on Pinterest :)

Now podcast time!

Teach 4 the Heart- I have listened to a few of the podcasts from this series and as someone who aspires to be a teacher, they are extremely encouraging and helpful. The lady who does them is a Christian and I love to hear what she has to say about teaching with a Godly influence. She has covered so many topics I couldn't possibly listen to them all. They are quick, cute, and I love them.

The Smart Creative Women Podcast by Monica Lee is great! I only listened to her podcast where she interviewed Ashley from Ashley Brooke Designs, and loved it. I love hearing other peoples stories and how they got started doing what they're doing. Ashley Brooke Designs is such a cute brand and Ashley has such a bubbly personality. Her story shows that God has a path paved for everyone, and it may not be what you planned.

I hope this post was interesting and you found some new things to read and listen too! Have a great rest of your Monday! Talk to you on Wednesday!

Light Pink Bedroom

Happy weekend gang! Do you know what a week from tonight is? The first ALABAMA FOOTBALL GAME of the season!!! I am super pumped and anxious for the season to start! I think the Tide will do pretty good this year. There are really only two seasons of the year for me.. Football Season & Waiting For Football Season. Any of y'all feel me??

My sis and I have started holding "meetings" on Saturday mornings either at home or at a restaurant to plan our week and when we shoot for my blog or film for her YouTube. I recommend everyone set aside time to organize the week ahead. This is so nice and takes away any anxiety I have about not being able to finish everything I want to get done.
Does anyone else get into Pandora? I have never really been into it because it is somewhat expensive, but I have realized that over time all my cheaper jewelry has turned and I have had to get rid of it, but my Pandora bracelet has stayed super shiny. I might have found my new obsession. After scrolling through this blog post by Rose Thomas I might be sold.
I don't know if many people would know this about me but I love a girly shabby chic home. A clean pink and white room with rustic antique touches and turquoise gets me every time. I am dreaming of my pink kitchen one day!
John 15:7 "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you."
God describes the word abide in the bible as "to remain". I always want his words to remain in me and I don't ever want to forget what his word teaches. That is some pretty important stuff!

This book is the bees knees y'all. Talk about some BEAUTIFUL food photography (all the heart eyes!!). The recipes in this book are separated by seasons and the pictures get me feelin' all festive! There are breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, snack, drink, and dessert recipes for each type of event for every time of year. LOVE LOVE LOVE!
