Happy Wedneday y'all! That 6 a.m. alarm came way to quickly and I am moving in slow motion today. I could have slept for another 6 hours, ha!
I really can't believe that it is Fall y'all. I went to the beach a few days ago and am sweating in my sleeveless sundress so I am not feeling the Fall feels, ha! I did try to get in the spirit a little bit last week with some fun DIY pumpkins and thought I would share them with y'all.
Pumpkin DIY #1: Gingham Pumpkin
This pumpkin is so easy and looks so preppy. You can do this with any color you prefer too. I chose to match it to my pink gingham pillow cases, but this tutorial that I followed shows it in Navy blue. If you are more particular about straight lines, than I would use a straight edge to make the lines, but I just winged it and don't think it looks too bad.
Pumpkin DIY #2: Polka Dot Pumpkin
I wish I had stuck to 1-3 colors instead of so many colors because I feel like it makes it look a tad "clown-ish". I still think it is a fun little idea though. Again, I just winged it with my paint brush, but if you want more exact circles, you can get circle stampers from Michaels.
Pumpkin DIY #3: Lilly Pulitzer Inspired Pumpkin
I don't even know how I managed to do this honestly. I am so NOT artistic so don't be threatened by my mad pumpkin skills on this one, lol. I saw this YouTube video and thought I would give it a try. I would practice this on a paper first before going in on your pumpkin. Good luck!
What a cute idea! The gingham one turned out so adorable!
