3 Places to Donate to This Christmas

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. I am SO excited to have received the news that ESPN College Gameday, the pre game show is coming to my school, UCF! I will be going this Saturday with a big sign in hopes of seeing Lee Corso pick UCF for the win and get TV time. (: 

As Christmas time approaches it is easy to get caught up in all that you "want" and how to decorate and what to find for all your Christmas parties, but we can't forget that this is the season of giving. This is a great time to give and donate to important charities and foundations. It is overwhelming to know where to start and so I compiled a list of well respected Christian charities that make a huge difference. Even a small donation can be a huge help!

One // Compassion International

Y'all know how much I love Compassion and the work they do to release children from poverty in Jesus' name across different countries. As much as I 100% recommend sponsoring a child for 38$ a month, I know that can be a financial commitment that can be hard. However, this time of year, they have opportunities for you to donate even small amounts to make a huge impact on families in poverty. You can see their Christmas catalog and donate online here. 

Two // Samaritans Purse 

This is another great Christian foundation that helps families in poverty across the globe. This Christmas, they also have a Christmas catalog with extensive ways to meet the needs of others. They also have the great option of creating shoeboxes to send overseas to brighten the lives of kids this season. This is an inexpensive and easy way to make a difference this year.

Three // St. Jude Hospital 

Boy does this place rip my heart right out. This is a children's hospital that works to provide care to families that have children suffering from cancers and diseases. No child is denied treatment based on their race, religion, or ability to pay, which is why donations are so important. Christmas isn't such a joyful time for some families who are facing impossible circumstances and having a place like St. Jude is such a blessing and Christmas miracle for these families.
