Did you get the Wiggles reference there ^^ or am I the only one who watched that show? Anyways, hope y'all are all having a fantastic day and are ready for a great holiday. I sure enjoy making all my patriotic recipes this time of year. I just love every holiday.
Today we are serving up some summer fruit salad with a honey and lime dressing. I am not typically a huge fruit person, but I have to say that this was pretty stinking tasty. Not to mention my mom's watermelon bowl and all of the cute plates may have made it a bit more exciting. I love the bright colors of summer.
This fruit salad is extremely easy to make!
All you have to do is start by washing and chopping all your fruits. This is sometimes time consuming but the more you do it the quicker you are. I prefer to have all the fruit laid out ahead a time with two bowls: one for the actual fruit salad, and one for the peels, ends, etc.. that you are going to eventually throw away. This speeds up the process quite a bit.
After all your fruit is chopped in a bowl you will just combine your dressing ingredients in a bowl and pour over your salad. Make sure to stir the fruit salad well before serving each time so the dressing is evenly distributed.
There you have it! Enjoy it gang!
