Grilled Sausage with Pimiento Cheese Grits- Tasty Tuesday

Well this is a southern recipe if I ever saw one! I have to say this recipe is one of my favorites and an easy, delicious meal to cook any day of the week. I will definitely be putting this recipe in my cook book for life! Try this out if you get a chance this week and let me know how it goes.

2 fully cooked smoked sausage
6 cups water
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 cups quick cooking grits
2 tablespoons butter
3 ounces cream cheese
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
4 tablespoons pimientos
Cook (reheat) the sausage according to the package directions and cut into little circles.
Bring 6 cups of water to a boil over medium heat. Stir in the salt
Carefully whisk grits into the water. Reduce the heat to low and cover the pot for about 10 minutes stirring occasionally.
Once the grits are tender and ready, stir in the butter, cream cheese, and cheddar cheese. stir until the cheeses are melted. Stir in the pimientos.
Serve with the grilled sausage on top and ENJOY!
