'To All The Boys I've Loved Before' Book Series Review

Hi y'all! I can't tell you how excited I am to finally be sharing these book reviews with y'all. I normally have a hard time really getting into books with a story that spans over a long time but this book was an exception. These three books span across a little over two years and I was hooked the whole time. I have heard so many great things about this series and was so eager to read it. I am going to try and keep this as to-the-point as possible. Here we go.

I read the first book in about two weeks which is kind of a long time for me. It took me a while to get hooked. Somewhere halfway through I got strongly attached to the characters and couldn't put it down. It felt kind of cheesy and very "highschoolery" but that is partially what made it so endearing. I quickly bought the second two books on Amazon.

This book is about a high school girl who has written love letters to five boys in total, the five boys she has "loved". They were not meant to ever be sent to the guys but when they mysteriously get sent to each boy she wrote them for, her life changes drastically. This book shares a lot about different family dynamics and relationships. Like I said, it takes a while to get hooked but once you do, you can't put it down.

I don't know if it was because I had to wait for the books to come in the mail (and Hurricane Irma slowed down UPS) but after I receieved it in the mail, I wasn't like going crazy over the second book. Similar to the first book, 'P.S. I Still Love You' didn't hook me until about halfway through. I think this was mainly because of the week break I unfortunately had to wait to start the second book. This book had SO many unexpected twists though and I LOVED it! I finished and quickly jumped to the third book.

This book is essentially a continuation of the first book so I can't exactly go into to much detail about it without spoiling the first book. It is however exciting and just as great as the first one.

Rate: 3.5/5

This was my favorite book by far and every part of the story came to a perfect close. It wasn't a super emotional ending or anything and was still slightly cheesy but I read it in 24 hours and was VERY satisfied with the ending. This whole story was just SO sweet and innocent and had such dynamic characters which I wasn't expecting.

This book again, of course, is the continuation of the story. This book has a perfect ending and again really dives into the struggles with relationships in high school and certain families. I loved this book the most because they were graduating high school at this point in the story so the book seemed to mature as the characters did which I really liked.
