It's hump day, and what better way to get through the rest of your week than with a sweet treat?
My sister made these delicious treats last night and I knew I had to share them with y'all because they were so good. She said they were extremely easy to make too which is always a bonus.
Serving: about 8-10 bars
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup salted butter, melted
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs (about 8 full graham crackers. I used gluten-free ones)
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 cup + 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter, divided
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Line an 8x8 or 9x9 inch square baking pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
Mix the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, and confectioners' sugar together in a medium bowl. Stir in 1 cup of peanut butter, then press evenly into prepared baking pan.
Melt remaining 2 tablespoons of peanut butter with the chocolate chips in the microwave or on the stove. Stir until smooth. Spread over peanut butter layer.
Chill in the refrigerator until completely firm, at least 2 hours. Allow to sit at room temperature for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Enjoy!
Doesn't it look good? It tastes even better than it looks and y'all can easily make it. Thank me later. (: I will talk to you soon.
xoxo
