Hi everybody! I am super excited about this post! I have been waiting to do a devotion like this one for quite a while and now that I finally have all the facts gathered, I can't wait to share them with you. Shout out to my amazing small group leaders at my church who taught me all of the things mentioned in this post! This devotion touches on a topic rather confusing to a lot of people who aren't believers because what you are often times taught in school doesn't line up with what us Christians believe. So who is right? Is there really such thing as a God?
The Teleological Argument says that the intricate design in the universe argues for a purposeful first cause.
Think about the eye. Have you ever studied the eye and seen how complex it really is. The fact that our eyes originally see things upside down, and our brain changes it to right side up before we know it, blows my mind.
Think about the cell. All the parts of a cell function simultaneously and work just perfectly. Isn't that ridiculous?
Think about DNA. One strand of DNA is more complex than a modern day computer, just one strand.
An adult human body has 100,000 miles of blood vessels.
You shed about 600,000 particles of skin every hour.
Not to mention, everybody has a different personality. Explain how evolution could create the feeling of love and other emotions.
Doesn't the complexity and truth of these statements, prove there must have been a brilliant designer.
The Law of Thermodynamics
The first law states that matter/ energy can neither be created or destroyed. So how could all of this matter and energy come from nothing? How could we have all just happened?
The second law states that the amount of usable energy is depleting. People often say that the earth has just always been here, but if this is true we wouldn't still have enough usable energy to sustain human life.
The Law of Biogenesis states that life only comes from life. This law disproves the theory of spontaneous generation. Some atheistic scientists will propose that life was transported here from another planet, but in that case, the life from that planet would still have had to come from somewhere.
The Moral Argument
If there is a God, then why the evil and suffering in the world? Sin. God gave us our free will to choose to love Him. It wouldn't be true love is we didn't chose him and we chose sin which is why there is suffering in the world.
Why doesn't God do something about the evil and suffering? He did, he sent his son. His son died on the cross so when we die we could live the life he intended, with no evil and suffering. He asks only that you believe in him and follow him.
If you have any comments or questions, feel free to comment below or email me! I would love to hear from you!
Hope you enjoyed! Talk to you soon!
I love this! One thing that has always bothered me is that what I've been taught in school for as long as I remember goes against what I believe. It's nice to see them fit together for once! :)

I am beyond happy that you liked it! It is helpful sometimes to have an argument developed and see it all put into perspective. So glad you enjoyed!
