Spontaneous Miscellaneous - Fall TV Edition

Happy Friday everyone! I was so happy to be back in a normal routine this past week and be back to a normal work and school schedule.

I have a lot of favorite things to share with y'all today! Let's first start off with TV because I am OBSESSED with so many exciting Fall TV shows that I recently started/ continued watching! Here we go!

My Favorite Recent TV Shows:

The Good Doctor

OMG Y'ALL! I have seen the commercials for this show for a long time and have been so thrilled for it to come on! It is on ABC and the main character is so talented. He plays an autistic young man who is a surgeon. He does a fantastic job and this is my new favorite show at the moment. Catch up on the show here and then tune in next week for the second episode!

Designated Survivor

Y'all already know that I obsessed over this show during the first season and I have been not-so-patiently waiting for the second season to start. The first episode of season two came on Wednesday night and it was pretty good. It had a slow start but knowing how intense the first season got, I expect things are about to get CRAY!

Anne With An E

Oh my word y'all. I don't know about you, but I grew up LOVING the sweet movie Anne of Green Gables. Well there is now a rendition of it on Netflix that is broken in to 45 minute increments. It is absolutely phenomenal. I don't think there was a single episode where I didn't cry, but if so, I definitely made up for it with the last episode. My eyes are still recovering. Season 2 is coming on Netflix "late 2018" so I am sure my mom and I will watch it over again together before that comes out. I highly recommend it!!!

Fuller House

I haven't finished watching the third season yet with my sister but we were thrilled to see it is back on Netflix! So cute!!

My Favorite Things This Week:

Football Is BACK

I LOVE having football season in full swing! There is nothing better to me than spending a Saturday with the TV showing games on the whole day. I know for some people, having the TV on all day is annoying, but when it is football, I am so happy. Hearing Kirk Herbstreit and Chris Fowler's voices calm me :)

Miss Louisiana Ventriloquist

Miss Louisiana didn't win the Miss America competition but she did win the talent portion. When I heard that she was going to be doing a Ventriloquist act I was kind of shocked. She did really good! I don't know how people can sing and yodel in different voices with their mouths CLOSED! Mind blown!

Clinique Acne Solutions All-Over Clearing Treatment
This stuff is amazing. I was recently breaking out a little more on my face and was using different drugstore brands but they seemed to both my skin more. Now I use a gentle face wash and put this stuff on all over my face each night and my skin is starting to clear up again. I am so happy! It does smell kind of funky and dry up your face but that is exactly what I needed. I have oily skin so it works great for me.

Momfessionals Blog

I have told y'all about Andrea's blog before but it is my absolute FAVORITE and daily must-read. Her style is so different but cute and her kids are the stinkin cutest things I have ever seen. Her blog and style is nothing over the top and she is so honest which I love. She teaches middle school at a small Christian private school and seeing pictures of their homecoming week and everything the school does makes me want to teach at one like it SO much. It is just so sweet.

My Favorite Moments This Week:

Interning in 3rd Grade

Y'all already know I am in college for Elementary Education and for one of my introductory education classes I am required to do so many observation hours in schools. I was so thrilled to go and spend the day in a 3rd grade classroom last Friday. I went to the class of my high school Sunday School teacher who I am pretty sure is the sweetest lady I have ever met. I had the BEST day. It further solidified my love for this career! I can't wait to model my classroom community after hers.

Riding My Bike

I have loved getting back into starting my day with exercise. With the change in schedule from Summer to Fall, I have not been making enough time for exercise. This week I have biked at least a quick 5 miles every morning just around the neighborhood before starting my day and I have LOVED it. Some nights too I will walk a few miles before I change into sweats and call a quits. Exercise is SO important for your mental and physical health and I have loved getting back into it. Also, on a completely unrelated, but yet still related note, how AWESOME is it when you can match your workout equipment of choice?? ;)

My Favorite Fashion Finds This Week:

This girls Instagram is SO cozy. I never knew an account could be described that way but hers sure is. I am more of a bright colorful person whereas her whole feed, style, and home are neutrals but for some reason I am obsessed with her style. I am dying to wear some cardigans!!

La La Life Blog

This girl has a great lifestyle blog and is always great about sharing her outfits for work throughout the week. I am obviously interested because she is a 5th grade teacher so her outfits are always so cute! She is also an avid reader and I get a lot of book recs from her book posts! Love her!

Football Tees!

Speaking of my love for football, how cute are these graphic tees! I love this season.. but you already knew that ;)

Well I hope y'all enjoyed! I will be talking to you again after this long weekend full of studying is O.V.E.R! Talk to you later!

My Fall Bucket List

Happy Wednesday everyone! It has officially been Fall now for a while but it is so hard for me to get in the spirit when it is so stinkin' hot outside here in Florida still. I mean like tank top and shorts kind of hot still. I figured it would be a good idea though to make a Fall bucket list for myself for when it does get a bit cooler.. if that day ever comes.
ONE // Go To A Pumpkin Patch

One of my most favorite days last year was going to a pumpkin patch with my sister while wearing plaid, sipping hot coffee, and listening to country music. I definitely want to do that again this Fall!

TWO // Paint Pumpkins

Last year I tried carving a pumpkin for the first time and realized it wasn't my thing. It stunk and was yucky (lol!) so I decided that painting them was probably more my thing! I want to paint several and use them to decorate my room this year.

THREE // Wear a Sweatshirt To A Football Game

This one sounds silly but I am usually too hot to last during a whole UCF game, especially one during the mid-day. I would love to go to a night game during late November though and wear my big UCF sweatshirt and cheer on my school!!

FOUR // Make Homemade Apple Cider

I am not a huge apple cider fan but something about when there is a slight breeze in the air makes me crave it! I want to learn to make some homemade this year!

FIVE // Watch A Scary Movie

I am the biggest chicken when it comes to scary movies and stay FAR FAR away from horror movies. I would however like to find one that is only a taaad scary to watch for a girls night. Let me know if you have any recommendations.

SIX // Go to Magic Kingdom

This is something I can do all the time but they decorate so cute for Fall and I want to go and make sure to soak it all in.

SEVEN // Roast Marshmallows

I don't have a fire pit so I am not sure how this will be possible but I will find a way. There is nothing that screams Fall like s'more's!

EIGHT // Go To A Festival

I love all kinds of Fall Festivals and going on hay rides! I need to remember to find a local place that has it going on!

NINE // Perfect my Cookie Recipes

I want to spend the Fall season perfecting my cookie recipes and giving neighbors and family warm cookies every now and then.

TEN // Shop at Target and Michaels

I absolutely love going to Target and Michaels during this time of year and seeing all of the decorations. Not that I need any reason to shop but this season sure will make it extra enjoyable!

Well that pretty much covers my Fall bucket list for this year! What are some things you absolutely have to do this time of year? Let me know your favorite scary movie!

4 Ingredient Reese's Puffs Snack Bars

Happy Monday y'all! I have a new recipe for you! I love baking but am not always in the mood to spend hours in the kitchen baking something sweet. That is why I love when I find a delicious and REALLY easy recipe. These bars are the best for that very reason. Not only are they easy but they are yummy too. They aren't really rich which I like because it doesn't make me feel bloated after eating one!

Ingredients:
5 Cups Reese's Puffs cereal
1 Cup natural peanut butter
1/2 Cup honey
1 Teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Pour Reese's Puffs cereal into a large bowl.
Scoop peanut butter into a small, separate bowl, and microwave for 45 seconds. Remove from microwave and stir in the honey. Microwave for an additional 30 seconds. Remove and stir in vanilla.
Pour peanut butter mixture over the Reese's Puffs and stir until completely coated.
Press mixture into a was paper-lined baking sheet.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes, or until ready to serve.
Cut into bars and serve!

Y'all enjoy and have a great rest of your week! I will talk to you soon!

Bright Orange

Hey y'all!! I hope you are having an absolutely fabulous week so far. I am still SWEATING y'all. I am dying for some low 80's at least but I don't think Florida is having it. I am dying to cozy up in some chunky sweaters but that just isn't going to happen. Oh well!

Since it is still so hot, I love a cold lemonade. I love all things lemonade. The watermelon lemonade from Chick-fil-a is the best thing ever. My sister works at one and gets free food so I sometimes convince her to bring me one! :) I love this bright orange tank! It is so flowy and comfortable. The material is super cool which is awesome for this heat.

Have a great day y'all!

Perfect Transitional Top

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you are ready for a great week. I know I sure am ready for things to return back to normal. The hurricane, a stomach bug, and school being cancelled has made this past week a little crazy and I am ready to get settled back into a routine. I am a routine person, if you couldn't already tell.
Shirt // Bag // Watch
How perfect is this top for summer? The best part is that I feel it could also be perfect for Fall too. Throw on a denim jacket or pair with jeans and wedges and it can be easily converted to a Fall outfit too. I am sad to say I think the season for these blue and white striped shoes is quickly coming to an end. I get slightly attached to shoes, and these were a FAV this year. :)

I hope y'all have a great start to your week. Don't forget to be a bucket filler and love like Jesus!

Spontaneous Miscellaneous

Happy Friday everyone! I am super excited to do one of these posts again because I have sooooo much to share and tell y'all about! I just finished my first month of college and it is already kicking my butt. Math in particular has always been hard for me, but geesh, college level math just doesn't like me. Thankfully, I only have two semesters of math and then I am DONE forever.

I hope all of you who also live in Florida (or anywhere) are doing okay and are safe and well after hurricane Irma made an unwelcome visit. My family is safe and we had minimal damage to our home and yard which was a huge blessing. Please keep me updated on how y'all are doing and how I can pray for you.

My Favorite Things This Week:

I recently got one of these silver bangles from this company and it is stunning! They are super inexpensive which is really nice but still high quality. They are inspired by Disney quotes which is right up my alley. I would love these stacked too! They have gold, rose gold, and silver!

I got this new gem a few weeks ago for school and I am obsessed with it! It is a super thin, lightweight, slick laptop but can also be turned into a tablet by detaching the screen. It comes with a super cool pen for it and still has a USB port, headphone jack, and SD card reader. You can read more about it online but basically I feel like the coolest student ever when I am sitting in class using it as a laptop and then just take off the screen and pen to start taking notes. IT'S SO FREAKIN COOL!!! I love technology!

My Favorite Fashion Finds This Week:

Because Florida has NO fall, I live out my fall fashion dreams through other bloggers who live somewhere cooler. I love these chunky sweaters I am seeing all over blogs and Pinterest. I will dream about wearing one.. maybe January will be here before we know it??
Here are some of my favorite chunky sweaters:

These are the shoes I raved about on my Instagram story yesterday! They are the most amazing mules especially for only like 25$!! I don't see them online yet but go to a Target store and you should find them! You need them for FALL Y'ALL!!!

Well I hope y'all enjoyed and have a great weekend! I will talk to you again soon!

My Dream Jobs!

Happy Monday everyone! I hope y'all had a great weekend! I watched Alabama kick butt and then I kicked Math's butt.. kill me now! I have an exam on Tuesday afternoon so hopefully it will go well. I always find it encouraging to remind myself why I am studying so hard and working towards a future by coming up with great ideas for my future classroom, and saving several cute little kid books I find at used book stores. If you couldn't already guess, I am an Elementary Education major.

That is and has been my dream job since I was about 8 years old. I can't wait to educate little minds and you can read my post here about the reasons I want to be a teacher.

However, I have always been a dreamer and have several other careers that I might just switch too when I am 50 years old or something ;) If I weren't going to be a teacher, here are the careers I would want!!

Dolphin Trainer // Oh my word y'all I have had an obsession with dolphins ever since I went to SeaWorld for the first time. I went to SeaWorld camp two summers in elementary school and was amazed at seeing the behind the scenes of the dolphin trainers. I also spent my 16th birthday swimming with dolphins at Discovery Cove and could totally see myself having a job where I had a uniform that was a wetsuit and dolphins as my coworkers.

Vintage Hair Salon Owner // Anyone who knows me or has read my blog for a while knows my favorite movie is Steel Magnolias and I have always wanted to open my own hair salon that is vintage and girly like the salon in that movie. All the hair stylists would wear cute aprons and there could be a cute old pink fridge where clients could find lemonade. I so see it :)

Nail Polish Name Creator // Is anyone obsessed with seeing what they name certain nail polish colors? I could sooooo come up with adorable names for different colors and would have oh so much fun doing it!

Children's Book Author // This is probably the most realistic one on here because my love for children's books is a little out of control. I have a few ideas in my head and maybe one day you will see a picture book by Juliana Grace at Barnes and Noble!

First Lady // There is nothing I can really do to achieve this job but I think I would make a great First Lady. I would totally try to be Laura Bush; a classy and graceful woman with a passion for the coming generations. I would also pick out the most amazing china pattern for the White House and have the most amazing wardrobe. I clearly would take the responsibility very seriously.

Disney World Travel Agent // It's no secret I love Disney World and I feel that I have been so many times at different seasons and under certain circumstances that I could plan some great vacations for families there. Regardless, I will always love planning my own trips there!

What are some of your own dream jobs? Realistic or not, I would love to hear them!

Talk to you soon!

xoxo
