Gameday Outfit!

Red Tunic (50% OFF!)// Houndstooth Scarf (ON SALE!)//

Hey everyone and happy Wednesday! Y'all know I am a huge Alabama football fan so I am always pairing red and hounds tooth patterns together to create the perfect game day look. This could also be worn for the holidays as well. So comfy! This is again one of the tunics from Mint Julep Boutique as shown in this blog post too. You can get them for half off if you go through any of the links on my blog. They are seriously the best. If I lived somewhere cooler I would be needing every color! #floridianproblems

I hope you enjoyed today's post! I will talk to you very soon!

Feather Details + Update

It's Monday! UGH! Today was my first day back at school after a nice Thanksgiving break. It felt so long but went by so fast at the same time. Only three weeks, and then it is Christmas break. Where did the time go?? I have some VERY exciting plans for December such as getting my wisdom teeth taken out wahooo! ;) I am not thrilled about that, but it has to be done. Despite the minor surgical event we have planned, December should be a fantastic month. I have a race coming up along with Christmas parties and family coming to town. We put up our tree yesterday and watched a Hallmark movie so I couldn't be more in the Christmas spirit. Actually, I probably could if it wasn't 85 degrees outside. Well.
Has anyone seen the trailer for the movie Kidnap? Looks so good. My mom is dying to see it so I will probably go with her. I will report back to y'all if it is good or not.

I hope y'all enjoy your week. I will talk to you very soon!

ELF ELF ELF!!!

Shirt // Mug //

"We elves try to stick to the four main food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corns and syrup!"
FYI no I did not actually try maple syrup in my coffee. :)

Before getting into this post I wanted to say that I hope all of you had a blessed Thanksgiving. I have so much to be thankful for and y'all are definitely on the list. I am so thankful God has blessed me with such a sweet family and an awesome life. He is good! Now that Thanksgiving is over, and Black Friday shopping has officially started, it is EVERYTHING Christmas around here. Get ready.

How cute is this tee from Jadelynn Brooke? It is possibly the softest tee I own! Their Christmas collection slayed and I had such a hard time deciding which to get... actually no I didn't. I kind of have this problem where I basically feel the need to buy anything and everything Elf related.. hence the tee and mug.

My grandma and I were walking around Charming Charlies and I saw this ADORABLE Elf mug and just grabbed two (one for my sister and one for myself) and took it to the checkout without even thinking. Best impulse buy EVER!!! I am so happy every time I drink out of it.

Today my family split up to shop some Black Friday sales. My mom, aunt, sister, and I went to Michaels to get some Christmas things and walked around Ulta. My dad however did his own thing, and came home with a giant inflatable Buddy the Elf to surprise my sister and I. HECK YEAH! I tell you, we're obsessed.

Needless to say if you haven't watched Elf, we can't be friends. ;) Have a great rest of you day folks! Talk to you soon!

Comfy & Cute!

Tunic // Scarf (use code "jgraceblog20" for 20% off) // Watch // Boots

Happy Thanksgiving Eve y'all! I want to know what ALL of you are doing for Thanksgiving. I hope it is spent with close family and friends. I will be spending some time with my Aunt and Grandparents eating lots of homemade deliciousness :)

How stinkin' cute is this tunic?? Y'all, I am obsessed. I am usually not one to wear over sized things, but these slouchy tunics from Mint Julep Boutique are so nice. They are so cute worn with leggings and boots. Pair them with a cute scarf or necklace and you have yourself a cozy and cute outfit! Not to mention, they are so soft! I could wear them to sleep!

I hope y'all enjoy the rest of your holiday and (hopefully) have some time off! As Thanksgiving approaches, I can't help but be reminded how thankful I am for this little internet circle I have here. Y'all are always so kind leaving sweet comments and emailing me. You have no idea how much I appreciate it. I always look forward to blogging and sharing my favorite things and experiences with you. Thank you.

Have a great day, talk to you soon!

HUGE Spontaneous Miscellaneous

Happy Friday my friends! Sorry it has been a while since I have done a Spontaneous Miscellaneous post sharing with y'all all my favorite kicks and giggles. Today we are back and better then ever. This weekend is going to be pretty relaxed and I am excited. I am trying out some new recipes so we will see how that goes :) What will you be up to this weekend?
Let's jump into some things that have been on my radar the past couple weeks:

My family has sponsored two children in the Philippines for years now and have a huge passion for everything Compassion International does. One of these things would be their Christmas catalog. Anyone can donate money or pick out gifts for those suffering in third world countries. When you go the the website and you see the sweet faces of these kids, you can't help but feel like this is what Christmas is all about. Start saving your money now, and give it to those who depend on it. And pray. They are dependent on that too.

If y'all have seen the show Fixer Upper on HGTV then you know the funny and real Gaines couple. These two are the most humble and real people to ever have a reality TV show (especially considering they don't even have a TV). This design power couple just recently came out with their book highlighting the ups and downs of their journey as a couple, parents, and entrepreneurs. This is such a good book and a quick read. LOVE them. Anyone down for a girls trip to Waco, Texas?

This book is another quick and easy read. I finished this in three days and couldn't put it down. It isn't too intense but rides on a fact that only the reader is aware of. This is a great Christian novel that brings awareness to the foster care system while being centered around a football team. SO good.

This is so random I know, but why did I never know about these until now? McAllisters has these baked potatoes on their menu that are absolutely amazing. I have been trying to limit how much meat I eat so this is a filling option that isn't just meat meat meat.

Cooler Weather / Running
Man it has been such nice weather out in the mornings recently. Getting in my morning run has become quite the routine and puts me in such a better mood. If you are considering taking up running I seriously recommend it. You don't need a membership or any elaborate plan, just get out of the house, put in some ear buds, and run. It isn't just good for your physical health but for your mental health as well.
Y'all already know I am registered for the Disney Princess 10k in February (AGH SO excited!!) but I also just signed up for the Reindeer Run at Seaworld held early December. I can't wait to deck myself out in Christmas gear and run around one of my most favorite places ever! Would you like a full post on my training plan? It is quite simple :)

If you have been following my fashion posts you already know that I have been obsessing over these booties from Payless. They have such good shoes for the price. I have boots in my closet that I bought from Payless about 2 years ago and they are still in good shape. I recommend stopping in :)

This girl has such a cute girly style with an obvious Texas influence and I am LOVING her Youtube videos. Her sweet voice just calms me and I trust her opinion on just about everything.. like these Target boots for example.. heart eyes!!

I know I have already mentioned this show but y'all it is still SO good. I wish it came on every day! I don't know how exactly they are going to make multiple seasons out of it but I am excited to find out.

PHEW that was an exhausting list! Now that y'all are fully updated on my life, what are some of your most favorite things at the moment? I would LOVE to get some book, TV, blog, or recipe recommendations from y'all.

Enjoy your weekend!

Turquoise Cold Shoulder Ruffle Dress

Happy Wednesday y'all! How stunning is this dress? The only thing that would have made it better would be if I wasn't so pale :( Haha! This is such a pretty dress though for most seasons here in Florida. These heels though.. not good. These shoes should have been retired after prom. #can'tfeelmytoes #beautyispain

In case any of you need a little cheering up, only 46 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS. I'm excited y'all.

Enjoy your night, talk to you soon!

Happy Monday gang! Is anyone else LOVING this time change? I woke up at 7 this morning and the sun was shining bright high up in the sky. I swear it makes it so much easier to get up and run when it isn't so dark outside. The holidays are sneaking up on me so fast. The majority of my family members have birthdays in November and December so it is a lot going on with both Thanksgiving and Christmas around the corner as well. They are all such exciting things though.

Olive Green

Happy Hump Day fam jam! What are y'all up to? I have been swamped with school recently because I am trying to get ahead so I have less to do come the crazy holidays. Speaking of holidays, how was y'all's Halloween? I had a blast dressing up as a nerd :) Am I the only one that is now slightly freaking out about Christmas now that Halloween is over? I mean don't get me wrong, I LOVE Christmas most of all but it just hit me all of a sudden all the things I need to do. I have fun plans though as the year comes to an end. Didn't 2016 just start?

Today's outfit is possibly a new favorite for Fall. It is so perfect for Florida too because it doesn't get the slightest chill until December. A light striped shirt with a vest is just perfect. Not to mention, olive/army green is possibly my favorite color this season. Okay not possibly. It is.

I hope you all enjoy the rest of your week!

Orange and Blue

Happy Halloween! Today is always such a fun day. I remember when I was little how long I would talk about my costumes before Halloween even approached. Do y'all have any plans for tonight? What are you going to be? I am dressing up as a nerd which is what I was last year. It is a go-to whenever I need a costume. I get pretty into the whole nerd thing.
This weekend was one of my best friends birthday parties and we did all the fall things. It was such a good time and I will be sharing my fall outfit from the night in a couple of days. I carved a pumpkin for the first time.... I will just leave it at that.. ;)

I thought a cute orange dress would be nice to share today for the holiday. I hate to say it daddy (because of the whole Auburn and Florida thing) but I kind of really like orange and blue together for fall. Super festive without having to be only dark colors. LOVE!

Hope y'all have a fun and safe Halloween! I will talk to you soon!
