What we Learned This Week:
God told Moses to make two more tablets of stone to share His Law for Israel on them. God instructed Moses to tell the people to follow His Law, to keep his Sabbath. Moses interpreted this to the people.
Relating it to Your Life:
I am going to be completely honest, this one is hard for me. That is a quick summary of what happened in those verses and honestly this whole week I have been struggling with what to make of it. I am sure many of you have been confused as well. What I am going to take away from these verses is that God is serious about his Laws. In todays time it is considered so high of someone if they "do their own thing" and are "super authentic" and "relatable" but this is replacing holiness and this is a problem. As we continue to work through the bible, we will see what God has to say about many topics, but we should just know that when God sets a rule and says to do something, we should take him seriously. He only wants the best for us. It might not be the hot trend right now but if we don't fear God enough to follow his rules, there is a big problem in todays society.
