Cupcake Sliders and Vanilla Bean Milkshakes! ~Sweet Saturday~

O.M.G. Guess what we are serving up today???....

... THATS RIGHT! Gluten free, CUPCAKE SLIDERS! How adorable. Not to mention the delicious Lactose Free Vanilla Bean Milkshake on the side is nothing to ignore either. This is possibly the cutest Sweet Saturday yet. This isn't a hard recipe to bake but a harder one to assemble. You really have to work with the cupcake sliders to make them look right but I am sure you can do it. These would also be ADORBS for a birthday party. Enjoy!

First up...

Cupcake Sliders

Ingredients: (Makes 12 Sliders)
Gluten Free Yellow Cake Mix (and ingredients to make cupcakes)
Gluten Free Brownie Mix (and ingredients to make brownies)
Chocolate Frosting
Red Frosting
Fruit Roll-Ups
Coconut
Green Food Coloring
Sesame Seeds

Directions:
Make, bake and cool your normal sized Yellow Cupcakes as directed on the box recipe.
Bake brownies according to directions on box and spread the batter in 15 x 10 x 1- inch pan. Bake 22-26 minutes and cool for 10 minutes. With a round cookie cutter or the top of a cup, cut 12 round for the "burger".
In a medium bowl, toss coconut, green food color and 4-6 drops of water with fork until coconut reaches desired color: set aside.
Remove the paper baking cups from your 12 cupcakes and cut each cupcake in half. Place a brownie (burger) on top of one of the cupcake slices with a layer of chocolate frosting to secure.
To make the "cheese slices", cut a fruit roll-up into a small square and place on top of the brownie. Then top with your coconut "lettuce" and squirt red frosting on top as "ketchup". Place the second half of your cupcake "bun" on top.
Sprinkle with a few sesame seeds and you are done!

And last but not least...

Vanilla Bean Milkshake

Ingredients: (Makes 4 servings)
8 Tablespoons of Sugar
2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
4 Cups of (Lactaid) Vanilla Ice Cream
2 Cups of (Lactaid) Milk

Directions:
Using a blender combine ingredients and enjoy with your friends and family!

Brights! ~Fashion Friday~

Happy Fashion Friday everyone! I am so happy to announce that today I finally got my DRIVERS LICENSE!! I was so extremely nervous going to the DMV today to take the test but I passed and my sweet momma and I went out for pizza to celebrate! I am sooooo happy :)

I would say I am loving this dress as summer comes to an end but honestly, it still feels like the dead of summer out here in Florida. It is still around 95 degrees during the day and raining in the late afternoons. I am seeing no transition into fall quite yet. Lets pray the hurricane doesn't come or cause any damage in the next few days like the weather men predict.

Checkered and White ~Fashion Friday~

Happy Fashion Friday everyone! I am so in love with these SUNGLASSES! I got them for $10 when I was on vacation in Ft. Lauderdale FL and I am OBSESSED. They remind me of Sharpay from High School Musical... am I the only one?
Speaking of which... you HAVE to see this vine that my sister showed me. Don't ask me how she found it but I am pretty sure we cried laughing on the floor for a solid 10 minutes watching it over and over again.. (we may have been a little tired!)

FUNNIEST THING EVER!

Also, the winner from the giveaway last week will be receiving an email on how to receive her Photoshop! Thanks to those who entered!

Healthy Veggie Lasagna ~Tasty Tuesday~

Happy Tasty Tuesday everyone! I am loving this recipe because it totally satisfies that craving for heavy Italian food like pasta or pizza without all the calories of the noodles. I used eggplant and zucchini in mine because they don't have an overpowering taste but feel free to slice which ever veggies you choose to layer your lasagna. Enjoy!

Events of the Bible: The Twelve Tribes of Isreal ~Weekly Devotion~

What We Learned This Week:
Having promised Abraham that He would cause a great nation to come from his descendants, God increasingly revealed His plan through Abraham's son Isaac and Isaac's son, Jacob.
Jacob, whose name was changed by God to Israel, had twelve sons. They each became a tribe and are known as the twelve tribes of Israel. To this day all their descendants are known as the Israelites or Jews. At this time, they were God's chosen people.

Relating it to Your Life:
Wow. God didn't disappoint. He kept his promise. He made Abraham a great nation and used him, despite of the mistakes he made, to do great things and accomplish a lot for the Lord. This is something that we could all easily have too if we stay faithful to God and pray for opportunities to make a difference. School started back for me today, and I hope that you will join with me and praying that as the new school year approaches, that God will use you in a big way this year, just like he used Abraham.

Happy Fashion Friday everyone! How cute is yellow this summer? I took some photos with my beautiful friend in our "somewhat matching" yellow dresses and I thought they turned out so pretty. Not often do you see a lot of yellow dresses and I think they look pretty darn cute ;)

What are y'all up to this weekend? I will be working a bunch and trying not to think about the fact that school starts Monday :(

Current Favs + Photoshop GIVEAWAY

Happy HUMP day everyone! Today I am sharing some current favorites with y'all and at the end there may or may not be a giveaway for something big ;)

One

Pedi Couture Pedicure Sandals from QVC! Omg how cute are these?? One of my pet peeves is paying for a full pedicure at the salon and then ruining it trying to put your shoes back on. These are super cute little sandals that come in a few different colors/patterns and make it a TON easier to get a pedicure home safely! (Thanks grandma for getting me hooked on these :) )

Two
Merle Norman Mineral Powder Foundation! I have always found that powder foundation makes me look dry and cakey and therefor always used liquid so of course my mom had to get me hooked on a powder foundation. I get multiple compliments every time I go out with this on saying "my skin looks so healthy" or "you have a glowing complexion"... yeah my friends... from powder. This stuff is pretty full coverage but natural looking enough to not look cakey.

Three
Photoshop Elements 12! This is quite and easier version of Photoshop compared to some of the others but still has the best of features, and I love using it for graphic design projects and photo editing. Speaking of Photoshop Elements 12... I am hosting my first GIVEAWAY!

I will be giving away one disk for you to download Photoshop Elements 12 for free. This can usually cost up to 80$. I will be picking the winner in a week so make sure you enter fast! Each drop down menu in the gadget below gives you a chance to earn several entries.

a Rafflecopter giveaway
