Gluten Free Donut Holes! - Sweet Saturday

Hi everyone and happy Saturday! I hope you are all having a great start to your weekend and I am sure many of you start back school soon like I do :(  I am always fine with school until we get into the second half right after a nice long break. Anyways, this recipe was super easy and quick and made delicious little snack bites. I made these on New Years Eve thinking that there would be some left over on New Years day but no. They were gone in about twenty minutes. I just made these with gluten free cake mix to make them gluten free and I think they tasted just as good as regular donut holes. I know I am going to receive questions about my apron but my friend Courtney who is super crafty made it for me with my monogram and everything! How cute is it?? Enjoy the recipe and let me know if you give it a try!

Ingredients:
1 package of any cake mix (I used devils food cake)
1 tablespoon ground nutmeg
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease about 48 mini muffin cups.
2. Prepare cake mix according to package directions; stir in nutmeg. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups, filling two-thirds full.
3. Bake about 12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
4. Remove donut holes from the pan. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Roll warm donut holes in sugar mixture until completely coated.

Enjoy! Super easy right? These tasty treats will satisfy your sweet tooth without leaving you feeling overly full and bloated. Comment or email with any thoughts or questions. Talk to y'all soon!
